Support and abuse each have their own email address, and email is the only way to reach Lumenfer.

**Quick answer — How do I reach Lumenfer support or report abuse?**

To reach **Lumenfer** support, email support@lumenfer.com about an order, a payment, your SSH key, RAID, a reinstall or a server that stopped answering; a person replies within 12 hours. Report abuse involving an Lumenfer IP address to abuse@lumenfer.com. Include the order reference and keep your account number to yourself. Dedicated servers cost from $91.65 for 30 days, payable in crypto, with no KYC.

> **Protect your account** Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number, your root password or your private SSH key, by email or in a chat. Replies from support always come from support@lumenfer.com. A message from any other address, account or number claiming to be Lumenfer is an impersonation.

## What do I put in a support email?

Name the server and describe the problem, and the answer comes sooner. Include:

- the order reference (ORD-…) shown in the dashboard;
- the server's IP address, plan, location and system;
- the steps you already tried and the exact error message, for example `Permission denied (publickey)` or `Connection timed out`;
- the time it happened, in UTC or with your time zone.

Keep your account number, your root password and your private SSH key out of every message. Sharing your public key (the `.pub` file) is fine. You log in as root over SSH. Paste a public key when ordering and password logins stay disabled, or skip it and receive a temporary root password with the server, to replace on your first login. The guide on how to install Proxmox on a dedicated server starts from a first SSH login.

## My server does not answer: what can support do?

Support restarts or reinstalls it for you, because you have no console of your own. There is no IPMI or KVM-over-IP console for customers: you request reboots and reinstalls in the dashboard and the team performs them. Reboots, reinstalls and cancellations are requested in the dashboard and handled by the team; reinstalling wipes the drives.

Request a reboot from the dashboard first, and give a physical machine a few minutes to start again. If SSH still does not answer, write to support with the IP address and the last change you made, such as a firewall rule or a new kernel. The page on what IPMI is on a dedicated server explains the remote console that is not included.

## Can I choose RAID before my server is ready?

Yes, by email, as long as the server is still being prepared. Two-drive plans ship with the operating system on a software RAID 1 mirror; ask support before delivery if you prefer RAID 0 or two separate drives. Write to support with the order reference and the layout you want: RAID 1, RAID 0 or separate disks.

## How do I report abuse from an Lumenfer server?

Write to abuse@lumenfer.com with what the team needs to locate the server and the activity:

- the IP address at Lumenfer;
- the moment it happened, in UTC or with the time zone;
- what you saw, for example phishing pages, spam, malware, a scan or an attack;
- supporting evidence: logs, full mail headers or the URL.

Foreign copyright and DMCA notices get no action; Panamanian law and Panamanian court orders do. Spam, phishing, malware, botnet control, attacks and child sexual abuse material are forbidden and get the server suspended. Suspensions and appeals are set out in the [Lumenfer acceptable use policy](https://lumenfer.com/acceptable-use/ "What may and may not run on an Lumenfer dedicated server").

## Does Lumenfer act on DMCA notices?

No. DMCA notices and other foreign copyright notices are not acted on: only Panamanian law and orders of Panamanian courts bind us. Whichever address receives it, a copyright notice leads neither to a takedown nor to a suspension. What does "DMCA ignored" mean for a dedicated server gives the background.

## Can support recover a lost account number?

Only if an email address is on the account. The account number is your only login, so keep it safe. An optional email lets you recover it; without one, a lost number cannot be recovered.

- **With an email:** open the dashboard sign-in page, pick "Forgot your account number?" and enter the address; the number arrives there.
- **Without an email:** access cannot be restored. Since Lumenfer collects no identity, nothing else can prove the account belongs to you.

Store the number in a password manager. An email on the account gives you a recovery route.

## Is there a phone number, Telegram or social media account?

No. Email to the two addresses on this page is the only channel. Lumenfer runs no phone line, no Telegram or other chat account and no official social media profile, so never hand payment or login details to one that uses its name.

## Which pages answer common questions?

## What else should I know about Lumenfer support?

### How quickly does Lumenfer support answer?

A person answers support emails within 12 hours, seven days a week, including help with SSH keys, RAID, reinstalls and firewall rules. The abuse desk has its own inbox, abuse@lumenfer.com.

### Can support reboot or reinstall my dedicated server?

Yes: request it from the dashboard. Reboots, reinstalls and cancellations are requested in the dashboard and handled by the team; reinstalling wipes the drives. If SSH is still silent after a reboot, email support.

### Does Lumenfer ever ask for my account number or root password?

Never. Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number, your root password or your private SSH key, by email or in a chat. Any message asking for them is fake, whatever its sender address.

### How long does a new server take to be ready?

Servers are prepared by a person once your payment is confirmed, within 72 hours rather than instantly; the dashboard shows progress and then the IP address when the machine is ready. Setup time: Up to 72 hours from the moment your payment is confirmed. Your 30 paid days start only when the server is ready.

### Which language does support use?

English. Brief messages quoting the order reference, the server IP and the error text get the fastest answers.
